The Healer's Path with Weylyn Ember

What does it take to walk the healer's path?

Often the healer's path is full of trials and tribulations. But the path of the healer is not just about learning how to heal others with a particular modality. It is about doing the never-ending personal work of self-realization along the way.

Episode Summary

Choosing the path of the healer could mean showing up for ourselves and our own healing or showing up for others in a healing context mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically or all of the above in a holistic sense. Regardless, of how we walk the path it requires a commitment to one’s inner development as a person and a soul first and foremost.

In this episode you will hear:

  1. A stellar interview with Weylyn Ember talking about how a tree helped her to grieve the loss of her mother and how nature can support us all
  2. Weylyn's dream about what it means to "Choose the path of authentic wholeness"
  3. A poem I wrote titled: The Healers Path (read out loud to some really beautiful acoustic music).

About Weylyn Ember:

Weylyn is a former biologist turned psychic wounded healer after some massive life changes stripped away her sense of self and who she was, and plunged her into a dark night of the soul.

Now she helps women who are struggling with a life change that has left them feeling empty, alone, worthless, or lost in their lives. She helps them heal their soul-level wounds and get tuned in to their own wisdom to discover their unique path to wholeness, leading to inner peace, power, and purpose.

She uses a mixture of hypnotherapy, Shamanic practices, Reiki and intuitive life coaching to guide women on their journey of healing and discovery, and offers wisdom from her higher self and spirit guides through her blog at:

on Facebook and on Instagram.

Weylyn Ember:

The thing that came up was accepting that not every one is going

Weylyn Ember:

to honor my transition and that's okay.

Weylyn Ember:

I don't need my past to fully come into my present.

Weylyn Ember:

It's okay for me to let parts of my past go.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

As I move into a new phase of my life, because that is that part of transition.

Weylyn Ember:

Uh,

Weylyn Ember:

welcome to alone.

Weylyn Ember:

Traveler's guide to the divine.

Weylyn Ember:

My name is Amanda Luxe and I'm the creator of the elevation hive

Weylyn Ember:

school and community membership.

Weylyn Ember:

For energy medicine and dreamwork, in this podcast, I offer teachings and

Weylyn Ember:

musings around energy medicine, polarity.

Weylyn Ember:

As well as poetry and songs and interviews.

Amanda Lux:

Uh, today,

Amanda Lux:

I'm going to be interviewing Waylon Ember, who is a former biologist,

Amanda Lux:

turned healer after she went through some massive life changes that plunged

Amanda Lux:

her into a dark night of the soul.

Amanda Lux:

So now she helps women primarily, to turn into their own inner wisdom and

Amanda Lux:

discover their unique path to wholeness.

Amanda Lux:

Weylyn totally inspired me to dig up a poem.

Amanda Lux:

I wrote a couple of years ago about the healers path.

Amanda Lux:

So stay tuned at the end of this episode, when I share the.

Amanda Lux:

But first we're going to go into Wayland's interview and then her dream share,

Amanda Lux:

which is all about, the healers path..

Amanda Lux:

Because on the path to healing others, we do have to do our

Amanda Lux:

own work of healing ourselves.

Amanda Lux:

And oftentimes this comes through our dreams, especially

Amanda Lux:

if we are paying attention.

Amanda Lux:

And.

Amanda Lux:

Her dream content.

Amanda Lux:

Has to do with this concept of the healers path , And just what that

Amanda Lux:

really looks like when it gets down to it, which it's not always pretty, right.

Amanda Lux:

Sometimes the healer's path is not an easy one to walk.

Amanda Lux:

And when I say healers path, really what I'm referring to is anybody who is, on

Amanda Lux:

the path of doing their own healing work.

Amanda Lux:

So that maybe eventually or not, they will decide to share healing,

Amanda Lux:

work with others as a practitioner.

Amanda Lux:

So whenever we step on that path of really cultivating those skills so

Amanda Lux:

that we can show up and help others.

Amanda Lux:

Inevitably, we have to do our own work.

Amanda Lux:

That's just part of the journey.

Amanda Lux:

And most of us who get initiated on that journey go through some

Amanda Lux:

kinds of challenging, issues ourselves that we have to overcome.

Amanda Lux:

And that.

Amanda Lux:

Drags us onto the healers path, or it inspires us to want to give back because

Amanda Lux:

we have gone through something ourselves.

Amanda Lux:

Whether or not you have.

Amanda Lux:

Professionally using your healers gifts.

Amanda Lux:

Your life itself is a healing gift.

Amanda Lux:

You know, just doing your own work for yourself is, is a gift to others.

Amanda Lux:

So I just wanted to clarify that probably if you're here,

Amanda Lux:

you're on the healers path.

Amanda Lux:

So, and if you are, then you'll probably relate to this,

Amanda Lux:

Our soul communicates to us often through our dreams and our intuition and

Amanda Lux:

we receive guidance and that guidance often doesn't look like what it is.

Amanda Lux:

Oftentimes those kinds of dreams come in the form of a nightmare

Amanda Lux:

or an uncomfortable dream.

Amanda Lux:

Right.

Amanda Lux:

And oftentimes on that path to wholeness.wereally do have to shed parts

Amanda Lux:

of ourselves that are no longer resonant.

Amanda Lux:

So anyways, that's a bit of what this episode is about, and I'm really excited

Amanda Lux:

to, , launch into this interview and then to have Weylyn share her dream.

Amanda Lux:

I just want to invite you to listen as though this was your

Amanda Lux:

dream really get yourself into a comfortable space where you can take

Amanda Lux:

in the conversation and pay attention to your body, to the environment.

Amanda Lux:

The sounds the happening.

Amanda Lux:

Just opening up to the synchronicities and to your own intuitive knowing

Amanda Lux:

so that you can get the most out of this sharing because there's always

Amanda Lux:

something in this for the listener.

Amanda Lux:

So when we listen to a dream, as though it were, our own we're really opening

Amanda Lux:

up to the healing that not only the dreamer can receive, but the healing

Amanda Lux:

that's there for us for our own journey.

Amanda Lux:

So I invite you to take full advantage of this opportunity and really listen

Amanda Lux:

with your whole being as Waylon Ember shares her dream titled choosing

Amanda Lux:

the authentic path to wholeness.

Amanda Lux:

so I wanted to invite you Weylyn to just say a little bit about what you do and

Amanda Lux:

what you offer and who you work with.

Amanda Lux:

I work with women, um, in

Weylyn Ember:

these

Amanda Lux:

different phases of transitions in their life.

Amanda Lux:

And, , we do one of two things.

Amanda Lux:

We either work through a style of hypnosis called body-mind

Amanda Lux:

bridge, where we use the.

Amanda Lux:

Symptom that someone is experiencing, whether it be pain, emotional, spiritual,

Amanda Lux:

physical pain, , or something else.

Amanda Lux:

We use that as a portal.

Amanda Lux:

And , through this, , hypnosis, we begin a relationship with the symptom.

Amanda Lux:

So that's one way that I work with people.

Amanda Lux:

And another way that I work with people is that sometimes it's

Amanda Lux:

supportive for me to actually go into a, more of a trance state..

Amanda Lux:

And so I'll actually go into a trance state so bringing people home,

Amanda Lux:

bringing people back to the earth that is their body reconnection.

Amanda Lux:

I just think that's brilliant.

Amanda Lux:

Yeah.

Amanda Lux:

I mean, we, we go through so many transformations in our lives, right?

Amanda Lux:

Whether it be the transformation from child to.

Amanda Lux:

Teenager, you know, into that maiden phase, , through motherhood, if we

Amanda Lux:

choose to become mothers becoming the crone, you know, that transformation

Amanda Lux:

into , that time of our lives.

Weylyn Ember:

And those are just a couple.

Weylyn Ember:

Through the death of our own mothers through the death of someone else

Weylyn Ember:

and an animal companion or a human companion transitions through

Weylyn Ember:

divorce, through loss of career.

Weylyn Ember:

I mean, there's so many times that we find ourselves at the threshold, right?

Weylyn Ember:

And often I have found in my own transformations through these different

Weylyn Ember:

phases of my life, especially during the.

Weylyn Ember:

Transformation when my mother died, I was so held and contained by nature

Weylyn Ember:

when she was in her dying process.

Weylyn Ember:

One of my only friends at the time that I felt really understood me was a tree.

Weylyn Ember:

And that sounds odd, but I would visit a tree daily.

Weylyn Ember:

I had a companion animal the time, but I also visited a tree and.

Weylyn Ember:

Deeply seen and held by my relationship that I had developed with this tree.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

After she passed away, I spent three months living in the woods

Weylyn Ember:

and I felt so completely contained.

Weylyn Ember:

It was the only place that I felt that I could safely be.

Weylyn Ember:

Was in the midst of all of these other beings that just contained me.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

My human friends.

Weylyn Ember:

Weren't sure how to deal with death.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

Because none of them had lost their own parents yet.

Weylyn Ember:

And so it was really hard for my human friends to show up and

Weylyn Ember:

walk me through this transition.

Weylyn Ember:

So I found that I was able to do, to walk my transition period of,

Weylyn Ember:

you know, becoming motherless.

Weylyn Ember:

By being contained by nature.

Weylyn Ember:

And so that's part of it is that because I had gone through these

Weylyn Ember:

different transitions in my life and nature always showed up for me.

Weylyn Ember:

I saw how well I was contained and how well that the especially trees

Weylyn Ember:

were able to just hold that for me.

Weylyn Ember:

And that I could grieve around trees and with nature.

Weylyn Ember:

So I just.

Weylyn Ember:

I see how well nature can help us with transitions in our lives.

Weylyn Ember:

. And so that's part of why I bring that in.

Weylyn Ember:

, it gets woven in, in different ways.

Amanda Lux:

I love too that we have like the sound of cars or

Amanda Lux:

something going by in the background.

Amanda Lux:

And yet, you know, you guys can't see this, but we're looking out

Amanda Lux:

at the most gorgeous view of water and mountain, even though we're in,

Amanda Lux:

in the city, it's just beautiful.

Amanda Lux:

Beautiful.

Amanda Lux:

Spot where you are.

Amanda Lux:

So I love being right here.

Weylyn Ember:

Well, then I love also thanks for actually calling that out

Weylyn Ember:

because people often think if they're not deeply in pristine nature, that

Weylyn Ember:

they can't have a nature connection.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

And that's a false belief.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

You can have a nature connection.

Weylyn Ember:

I'm an a, I'm, there's a lot of plants in this apartment, birds, there's quite a

Weylyn Ember:

few different birds that I get to where.

Weylyn Ember:

Engaging in their normal routines, including, , some Falcons

Weylyn Ember:

that live in my neighborhood.

Weylyn Ember:

So I have neighbors that are, that are Falcons.

Weylyn Ember:

I really think of them as my neighbors.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

For sure.

Weylyn Ember:

And the crows and the seagulls and the,

Amanda Lux:

I think that's why I commented on it because I wasn't

Amanda Lux:

sure if that would, I wanted to call that out because even though.

Amanda Lux:

Some city sounds.

Amanda Lux:

I just love it.

Amanda Lux:

I just think it's beautiful.

Amanda Lux:

Like there's, I can feel your, I can feel the presence of nature in here.

Amanda Lux:

I feel it.

Amanda Lux:

I feel that from your cultivated relationship.

Weylyn Ember:

Totally.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah, I know.

Weylyn Ember:

And I think that that's the thing that people can do is that they

Weylyn Ember:

can cultivate a relationship.

Weylyn Ember:

So even when you're in these hyper urban environments, you know, if you've got

Weylyn Ember:

listeners in New York city or in Tokyo or Paris, wherever your listeners hail from.

Weylyn Ember:

There is nature to be engaged with.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

And it can be just a single, dandelion breaking through the, the cement.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

But that's a life and that's an experience.

Weylyn Ember:

I mean, it's, and that's the thing that people, once they start to see,

Weylyn Ember:

they can begin to have a relationship.

Weylyn Ember:

Totally.

Weylyn Ember:

You can cultivate that from anywhere.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

I love that.

Weylyn Ember:

And I'm so curious how that came in, because near here, you're

Weylyn Ember:

also going to be sharing a dream.

Weylyn Ember:

And so yeah, just the field of our conversation took an interesting turn.

Weylyn Ember:

Just really moving into how we can resource nature.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

I'm just feeling that, so, yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

I think, you know, that's, that's something that I do love to help

Weylyn Ember:

people find also is how do I.

Weylyn Ember:

Get resourced through my relationship with nature.

Weylyn Ember:

Not certainly something that people can visit my website to find out more about.

Weylyn Ember:

Well, and I just want to mention that your website is rebirthing, but the

Weylyn Ember:

birthing is actually rebEARTHing.com

Weylyn Ember:

T H B I R.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

So I think that's a brilliant, brilliant name.

Weylyn Ember:

Thank you.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah, really encapsulated.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah, really coming home to the earth.

Weylyn Ember:

That is the body and coming home to the earth.

Weylyn Ember:

That is the place where we live currently, currently

Weylyn Ember:

on our soul journey.

Weylyn Ember:

I would love to transition and invite you to share the dream that you

Weylyn Ember:

brought, , and to begin with, I like to just introduce this concept of we're

Weylyn Ember:

going to be moving through the elements.

Weylyn Ember:

Okay.

Weylyn Ember:

And so the first element is ether, which is, , related to the throat

Weylyn Ember:

chakra and ether has to do with sort of space, your intent, the context

Weylyn Ember:

that seed, if you did seed your dream or incubate the dream and with some.

Weylyn Ember:

Or if you didn't then even just like the context of where you're coming from,

Weylyn Ember:

, in orientation related to the dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Perfect.

Weylyn Ember:

I love starting there.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

So the dream, I did not seed it.

Weylyn Ember:

But it was so profound that I woke up as a result of it because I knew when it was.

Weylyn Ember:

It's a snippet that I'll share, but the snippet was so important

Weylyn Ember:

that I immediately woke up.

Weylyn Ember:

And so the context of it is that I am shifting from part-time healing

Weylyn Ember:

work to full-time healing work.

Weylyn Ember:

And this was very related to what I perceive as some of my anxiety around.

Weylyn Ember:

Moving more fully into the gifts that I'm offering.

Weylyn Ember:

Beautiful.

Weylyn Ember:

Beautiful.

Amanda Lux:

Okay.

Amanda Lux:

So that's great.

Amanda Lux:

Now we have sort of some context around the dream that you're

Amanda Lux:

in process of transitioning.

Amanda Lux:

And so I'll invite you as we move into the air element to

Amanda Lux:

share the story of the dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Okay.

Weylyn Ember:

And maybe what you think about it.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

Okay.

Weylyn Ember:

So, um, Was very short.

Weylyn Ember:

And what I saw was these two women who I knew from childhood and they were standing

Weylyn Ember:

in a line, they were cued up for something and I entered into a space where they

Weylyn Ember:

were and I got to stand in between them.

Weylyn Ember:

And I understood that by standing in between them, that it was.

Weylyn Ember:

Me joining them.

Weylyn Ember:

And as soon as I joined them, one of them, the person who was ahead of me looked

Weylyn Ember:

at me and then just walked away and I immediately understood that I had been

Weylyn Ember:

rejected, but I was not being included in whatever it was that was about to happen,

Weylyn Ember:

that I didn't belong according to this.

Weylyn Ember:

And they were demonstrating that by walking away from me, they

Weylyn Ember:

didn't speak, they just looked at me and they walked away.

Weylyn Ember:

And that's what made me wake up was because I have worked enough with my

Weylyn Ember:

dreams that sometimes I lucid dream.

Weylyn Ember:

And so it was, oh, this is information.

Weylyn Ember:

This is something I need to S to start to process.

Weylyn Ember:

'cause that's the beautiful thing about dreams is that we tap into the

Weylyn Ember:

subconscious and it sometimes for some folks, that's the only time that they

Weylyn Ember:

do tap into the subconscious mind.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

So my subconscious was telling me something I'm in a state of

Weylyn Ember:

transition myself, and this is something that's arising for me.

Weylyn Ember:

That's ready to be examined, right?

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

And so you had a knowing within the.

Weylyn Ember:

That this was important information and you will, and it woke you up.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

And then you paid attention and you listened to the dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

, and so before I invite some reflection, which is more of the water element.

Weylyn Ember:

I want to invite you to tune in with your body, to the dream.

Weylyn Ember:

That's more of the fire.

Weylyn Ember:

So in the fire fire relates to our third chakra and then that's where we,

Weylyn Ember:

it's our embodied aspect of our energy.

Weylyn Ember:

It moves from the heart and the air and the mind down into the physicality.

Weylyn Ember:

So when I am working a dream and I tune in with, with my body, , it goes

Weylyn Ember:

from the head down into the body.

Weylyn Ember:

So I'm wondering, I want to invite, as you tune into your body around the

Weylyn Ember:

dream, is there any more information about the dream that comes to you?

Weylyn Ember:

I would say maybe this is that air feeding the fire, right?

Weylyn Ember:

Cause we need air to feed our fire of course.

Weylyn Ember:

And so the thinking part is feeding the body part, which.

Weylyn Ember:

Many people, including myself at times in our lives

Weylyn Ember:

experienced in imposter syndrome.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

And so even though I am already doing this work, there's something

Weylyn Ember:

about more deeply claiming it, right.

Weylyn Ember:

That feels maybe there's some imposter with, because I

Weylyn Ember:

haven't quite analyzed it yet.

Weylyn Ember:

Maybe there's some imposter syndrome showing up of, Ooh, do I

Weylyn Ember:

really belong in this community?

Weylyn Ember:

Because I'm claiming more.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

And so I even am feeling my body, like almost resisting doing this opening

Weylyn Ember:

up kind of getting some elbow, right?

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

And so these, so that brings me to a little bit of reflection, which is water.

Weylyn Ember:

And I think also I would mention in the water, not only as an opportunity then

Weylyn Ember:

for me to reflect and kind of impassively tune in with my body, to your dream.

Weylyn Ember:

And if you were on your own, you could get that reflection.

Weylyn Ember:

Uh, the universe from synchronicity, from watching and listening to how

Weylyn Ember:

life interacts with you post dream.

Amanda Lux:

Right.

Amanda Lux:

But since we have the opportunity to re know, reflect with each other here in this

Amanda Lux:

moment, I'm just tuning into your dream.

Amanda Lux:

And I'm, I'm very in touch with the curiosity.

Amanda Lux:

That's the first.

Amanda Lux:

Um, and then water also, it has to do with our emotional body,

Amanda Lux:

to our emotional intelligence.

Amanda Lux:

So I'm tuning in to what you're saying.

Amanda Lux:

And my curiosity is how are these women related to you where they

Amanda Lux:

ancestral, where they strangers to you?

Amanda Lux:

Were they peers?

Amanda Lux:

Were they older, younger?

Amanda Lux:

I just have this curiosity who were these women?

Weylyn Ember:

They were, yeah, definitely peers.

Weylyn Ember:

And as you are asking me that I'm like, oh yeah, There is this desire

Weylyn Ember:

to feel welcomed by my peers, into this community more fully.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

And part of that is me claiming it there's that stepping more fully

Weylyn Ember:

into it and saying, and announcing it to the world and not being shy.

Weylyn Ember:

Okay.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah, absolutely.

Weylyn Ember:

They were peers and they were peers that I simultaneously looked up to because.

Weylyn Ember:

I feel in my body that they were, were popular girls, maybe

Weylyn Ember:

growing up, um, that had more, maybe power in our social circles.

Weylyn Ember:

, that I envied them maybe a little because of their positional power.

Weylyn Ember:

And were these people that you knew.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

And they were from your youth.

Weylyn Ember:

Okay.

Weylyn Ember:

Except that I don't remember who specifically, but when I saw them in the

Weylyn Ember:

dream, there was a familiar, there was a familiarity and they were from my past.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes, totally.

Weylyn Ember:

So I did have , a feeling that there was something in the past

Weylyn Ember:

coming up that this felt like past.

Weylyn Ember:

But that's why I asked where they ancestral is this so far

Weylyn Ember:

past that it's, you're processing.

Weylyn Ember:

a rejection from past lives or from ancestors, or is this from your

Weylyn Ember:

childhood, your youth, your own past, and this experience, or maybe it's both.

Weylyn Ember:

We, you know, sometimes it's all, all the things, but it feels more current

Weylyn Ember:

when you say that I'm like, okay.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

And then, you know, the other question either create curiosity.

Weylyn Ember:

I always like to look at edit dream both from the perspective of.

Weylyn Ember:

Metaphorically or from the external representation of who the person is.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

But then I also like to look at it as if those were aspects of me.

Weylyn Ember:

So, you know, when I reflect on your dream, like if those women were

Weylyn Ember:

aspects of me and if this was my dream, I might be interested too.

Weylyn Ember:

I might be curious.

Weylyn Ember:

Is there a part of me that is rejecting myself or turning away from myself?

Amanda Lux:

And how do I want to be with that?

Weylyn Ember:

Absolutely.

Weylyn Ember:

And I think because of this particular transition that I'm in, in more fully

Weylyn Ember:

stepping into my purpose and power, yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

There is, you know, we waiver in our own confidence, right?

Weylyn Ember:

When we're stepping into more power or we're claiming our purpose.

Weylyn Ember:

And if we haven't fully.

Weylyn Ember:

Sort of like stick to that claim right.

Weylyn Ember:

And fully come into the world, no matter what it is, you know, when, when

Weylyn Ember:

you're entering a new phase, it's it, there definitely feels like you waver

Weylyn Ember:

in your, oh, can I really do this?

Weylyn Ember:

Is this really who I am?

Weylyn Ember:

Is this really who I want to be?

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

You know, I mean, we experiment with that in so many different ways and I think.

Weylyn Ember:

There is absolutely a small rejection of the self because this is the unknown.

Weylyn Ember:

And before I fully step in, it's easy to back out of it.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

At some point it feels like you've made this commitment

Weylyn Ember:

and it's a little harder to.

Weylyn Ember:

You know, whenever we make a commitment, it's like that signature

Weylyn Ember:

on the line, like, it feels like, oh, okay, I've fully committed.

Weylyn Ember:

And so I think that there's a part of us that we, before we commit, there's

Weylyn Ember:

an ability to, to not step into it.

Weylyn Ember:

But there's also in that place as a rejection.

Weylyn Ember:

Right, right.

Weylyn Ember:

Maybe I'm not cut out for this.

Weylyn Ember:

Maybe I'm.

Weylyn Ember:

You know, and so, yeah, I think because I'm fully stepping into my

Weylyn Ember:

commitment, I'm I'm on that journey right now of that commitment and

Weylyn Ember:

stepping into this, I think, yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

All the anxiety around confidence believing in myself is, is coming to

Weylyn Ember:

the forefront because of the way in which I am walking this path right now.

Weylyn Ember:

So it's very timely, this dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

I feel the power in that, you know, just your embodiment of that commitment.

Weylyn Ember:

And as we earth this dream here, um, which is what is the outcome or a closure

Weylyn Ember:

or action that you would take to honor the dream, as you were saying that I

Weylyn Ember:

got a vision, which I just love that.

Weylyn Ember:

And what I saw.

Weylyn Ember:

Only one woman turned away from me and walked away.

Weylyn Ember:

The other one stayed the other one accepted.

Weylyn Ember:

And the thing that came up was except in that not everyone is

Weylyn Ember:

going to honor my transition.

Weylyn Ember:

Right, right.

Weylyn Ember:

And that's okay.

Weylyn Ember:

I don't need.

Weylyn Ember:

My past to fully come into my present.

Weylyn Ember:

It's okay for me to let parts of my past go.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

As I move into a new phase of my life, because that is that

Weylyn Ember:

part of transition, right.

Weylyn Ember:

We release and to release, not just this person, cause it's not specific to these

Weylyn Ember:

two humans, but it is what they represent.

Weylyn Ember:

And.

Weylyn Ember:

It's also representing, I don't need full acceptance from my past the

Weylyn Ember:

people of my past, who have been in the past in order to step into my future.

Weylyn Ember:

Totally.

Weylyn Ember:

And so just honoring, like it's okay for her to walk away from me.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

I don't need her to accept me, whoever she was.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

In order for me to fully come into who I am.

Weylyn Ember:

And I love that too.

Weylyn Ember:

Even if there's some version of you associated with your past self

Weylyn Ember:

and some judgment of what's okay.

Weylyn Ember:

And not okay.

Weylyn Ember:

Or acceptable or not acceptable or powerful or not powerful.

Weylyn Ember:

And you don't even need that part to be in alignment with

Weylyn Ember:

your, you have this other part.

Weylyn Ember:

And I love that.

Weylyn Ember:

That just emerged at the end here.

Weylyn Ember:

It's like, oh, they didn't both walk away one state.

Weylyn Ember:

So there's a part of you that is so willing to stay with yourself.

Weylyn Ember:

Even if this other.

Weylyn Ember:

From your past is ready to go.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

And isn't an alignment anymore.

Weylyn Ember:

And that's how it works.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

When we are changing our vibration in our lives, and we're stepping more

Weylyn Ember:

into our truth, we have to shed the old thing, you know, like it's not going to

Weylyn Ember:

continue to vibrate at the same frequency.

Weylyn Ember:

And so therefore the people will leave old constructs will leave then.

Weylyn Ember:

And it can be a little bit painful or scary, but that's, but you know,

Weylyn Ember:

I think what you're saying, really, as far as how to honor this dream

Weylyn Ember:

is to honor that you don't need those old parts to stay with you and

Weylyn Ember:

that it's necessary to let them go.

Weylyn Ember:

And that you do have the support you need, you are being seen and

Weylyn Ember:

accepted by this other aspect.

Weylyn Ember:

And.

Weylyn Ember:

You can be stand in your power and your purpose with peace.

Weylyn Ember:

Exactly.

Weylyn Ember:

And I think the last thing that I'm recalling from the liminal state

Weylyn Ember:

and that as you were saying, that is coming through again, is that there's

Weylyn Ember:

a community containment piece here.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

The community may be walked away and that might've been an aspect of.

Weylyn Ember:

But I am still part of a community.

Weylyn Ember:

And so as I fully step into my purpose, I'm going to have community.

Weylyn Ember:

I will be held, right?

Weylyn Ember:

Yes.

Weylyn Ember:

And so there it's.

Weylyn Ember:

Okay.

Weylyn Ember:

I sh I, I don't need to fear the loss of my community.

Weylyn Ember:

As I step more fully into my peace, power and purpose.

Weylyn Ember:

That's beautiful.

Weylyn Ember:

That's really beautiful.

Weylyn Ember:

And it feels really good to be in that with you.

Weylyn Ember:

And I just want to honor that thank transitional.

Weylyn Ember:

Well, you know, I feel like I loved how you, we started this conversation with

Weylyn Ember:

talking about how you support other women and how part of what allows you to.

Weylyn Ember:

You is your own life experience has really given you context and the

Weylyn Ember:

ability to, to really support other people that go through different

Weylyn Ember:

things, different transitions.

Weylyn Ember:

But in another sense, you're going through a transition even now that, you

Weylyn Ember:

know, upleveling your own commitment to your passion and your purpose.

Weylyn Ember:

Transitioning that really directly and that, you know, through this dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

It's just a beautiful example of how our subconscious and how our, how our guides

Weylyn Ember:

and how, you know, our spirit really communicates with us and helps us to see.

Weylyn Ember:

And when we're listening, how we can pay attention and then.

Weylyn Ember:

That just feels very empowering.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

And was that dream recent or was that very, yeah, I would

Weylyn Ember:

say within the last two weeks.

Weylyn Ember:

Wow.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah, very recent, so powerful.

Weylyn Ember:

And, and it is so powerful because we all, not everybody remembers

Weylyn Ember:

their dream, but everybody dreams.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

And it is like this free yeah.

Weylyn Ember:

Gateway to the subconscious and.

Weylyn Ember:

This avenue to begin to have that relationship with the self, right.

Weylyn Ember:

And with our guides and with the natural world, natural world and all

Weylyn Ember:

that is the other worlds that exist.

Weylyn Ember:

Everything else that exists.

Weylyn Ember:

And that's, what's so great is like it's, it's, it's such an easy, like

Weylyn Ember:

here's a first way you can do this work.

Weylyn Ember:

Start paying attention to your dreams and just by setting the intention

Weylyn Ember:

of that dreams can start to show up.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

And definitely when we know we're going to, you know, cause I think I, I invited

Weylyn Ember:

you to participate in this podcast maybe a couple of weeks ago or a little

Weylyn Ember:

bit more than a couple of weeks ago.

Weylyn Ember:

And so, uh, the dream came after that and that's so often what happens.

Weylyn Ember:

Um, when we know we're going to be witnessed and we have that

Weylyn Ember:

opportunity to bring something out, the potent dreams come.

Weylyn Ember:

Oh, absolutely.

Weylyn Ember:

They come because they know we're going to pay attention.

Weylyn Ember:

Yeah, absolutely.

Weylyn Ember:

And I've heard that a few times when I've invited people

Weylyn Ember:

to be, to come share a dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Maybe they have an old dream, they think they're going to share, but right

Weylyn Ember:

before the podcast they'll have a dream.

Weylyn Ember:

That's like, no, this is the one, this is the dream you're going to

Weylyn Ember:

share because it's potent because now it's not only your dream.

Weylyn Ember:

It's everybody, else's dream.

Weylyn Ember:

Who's listening.

Weylyn Ember:

Right.

Weylyn Ember:

It's your dream, right.

Weylyn Ember:

If you're listening right now, whoever you are, you know, like across time.

Weylyn Ember:

Yes, it's, it's rippling out so that when I was doing the dream work in your

Weylyn Ember:

classes, I loved doing those classes because it was so fun, especially in

Weylyn Ember:

a group setting, it was so fun to be able to reenter a dream and to really

Weylyn Ember:

pull that information from a dream.

Weylyn Ember:

You know, prior to that, I, I had done work on my own of just lucid

Weylyn Ember:

dreaming, but to do it in a group work.

Weylyn Ember:

Hmm, the potency for sure is exponential for sure.

Weylyn Ember:

Cool.

Weylyn Ember:

Well, thank you so much for sharing your dream and for, you know, allowing

Weylyn Ember:

your dream to become everyone's dream.

Amanda Lux:

So even when we have these dreams of rejection for loss,

Amanda Lux:

it's oftentimes a sign that we're.

Amanda Lux:

We are evolving, and those are just old parts of ourselves

Amanda Lux:

that are no longer resonant.

Amanda Lux:

And that's really cool actually, it's, it's something to celebrate.

Amanda Lux:

So I think it's important to pay attention to our dreams so that we can really know

Amanda Lux:

when we are transforming or in the process of transforming and, and listen to the.

Amanda Lux:

Uh, conversations that are happening within our own psyche within our own soul.

Amanda Lux:

And really that way it furthers our, our journey.

Amanda Lux:

It furthers us on the path.

Amanda Lux:

And the process itself isn't linear.

Amanda Lux:

Like we might think that we are way down the road and that we've already

Amanda Lux:

done that, those, those initial steps of really claiming who we

Amanda Lux:

are and where we are on our path.

Amanda Lux:

But we never know when those kinds of lessons are going to find us.

Amanda Lux:

We can't really know what our initiations are entail.

Amanda Lux:

We just have to meet them.

Amanda Lux:

And one way that we can do that is by gathering in community

Amanda Lux:

and sharing our stories.

Amanda Lux:

And that really helps us to feel, I think, less alone um, you know,

Amanda Lux:

life is a mystery and we're really here to walk it in community.

Amanda Lux:

I think in, in a sacred way, honoring how.

Amanda Lux:

How it looks for each of us differently and how we relate.

Amanda Lux:

So I just wanted to say that in case something in Weylyn's dream

Amanda Lux:

resonated for you or in case you're on that point in your healer's journey.

Amanda Lux:

Things are, , not looking like you want them to, we're not

Amanda Lux:

feeling good and that it's okay.

Amanda Lux:

I just wanted to say it's okay.

Amanda Lux:

So I'm going to go ahead and shift now into sharing this

Amanda Lux:

poem called the healer's path.

Amanda Lux:

Um,

Amanda Lux:

the healer's path is as much within as, without it's a journey of

Amanda Lux:

wadeing through shit facing doubt, shedding fear, learning to trust,

Amanda Lux:

to hone, to come home to oneself.

Amanda Lux:

It is ongoing ever evolving.

Amanda Lux:

Never.

Amanda Lux:

Ever unfolding, but it takes courage to share our gifts.

Amanda Lux:

It takes time and concentration to cultivate and gather to educate.

Amanda Lux:

And remember it is not something we step into lightly because the healer's

Amanda Lux:

path is not for the faint of heart.

Amanda Lux:

It requires that we do our inner digging, reflecting, and the outer rejected.

Amanda Lux:

We do our part and so much more because we are the ones with the

Amanda Lux:

remedies, the comforting touch.

Amanda Lux:

We are the hollow bones, the medicine gatherers, the wisdom, sharers, the

Amanda Lux:

caretakers of the natural world.

Amanda Lux:

And one another.

Amanda Lux:

We are the remembers of that, which is mythic the bearers of magic and sorrow.

Amanda Lux:

Pain and suffering seek us out.

Amanda Lux:

And we will commit in inviting the off-kilter to find its way back to center

Amanda Lux:

by honoring that, which has gone on acknowledged by seeing how one's trials

Amanda Lux:

can become initiations by witnessing the wisdom that can come from one suffering.

Amanda Lux:

Remaining as humble mirrors, soothers of fears, we allow, we hold the space.

Amanda Lux:

We light the candles, the incense, the hearth fires, the campfires we

Amanda Lux:

light the way from within, because we know that transformation often

Amanda Lux:

begins with what appears to be broken.

Amanda Lux:

But it is up to us to see the whole illness, even when it is painful,

Amanda Lux:

harrowing, agonizing, empty, overflowing, unbearable, unraveling.

Amanda Lux:

We are here to gingerly laced, the web back together with our words,

Amanda Lux:

our gestures, our dreaming, because the healer's path is as much within.

Amanda Lux:

As it is in the sharing of our comfort or potions our soul solves or affirmations

Amanda Lux:

because our ability to help others can only come from our personal wound,

Amanda Lux:

tending our lived surrendering, and our commitment to reflecting back

Amanda Lux:

the healer that lives within us.

Amanda Lux:

All.
