Medicine Dreams with Kim Pinckley

In this episode

In this fun yet potent interview, Polarity and Craniosacral teacher Kim Pinckley shares some powerful medicine dreams and discusses:

  • How she had two dream visitations in one day from deceased friends visiting her from the other side
  • How Yoda and the Karate Kid inspired her to step on the healers' path which she has been on for over 25 years as a craniosacral and polarity practitioner, teacher and retreat leader
  • How she frequently dreams of receiving guidance for her soul's mission from what she refers to as the Galactic Federation (which BTW Kim really would love to know if you have been there too!)

Kim Pinckley LMT, RPP, RPE, ICSU

Kim began her journey in the healing arts in St Petersburg, Florida where she attended The Humanities Center School of Massage Therapy in 1997. Two years after graduating with honors Kim found the modality that would not only change her life but add another dimension to her practice, Cranial Sacral Therapy. She has since studied this therapy with 3 different schools in 3 different states and has been practicing it for almost 20 years.

In 2010 Kim attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts where she met her passion, Polarity Therapy, which she terms, "the most comprehensive and effective modality available for healing, change and balance for your body and your life equally". While completing a 650 hour Mind Body Wellness program at SWIHA, she also studied Reiki, Nutrition and Hypnotherapy and eventually became certified to teach Polarity Therapy and Cranial Sacral Unwinding Therapies. It is also here in Phoenix where Kim was introduced to Native American Medicine Wheel Ceremony and other traditional Native teachings and healing practices which are integrated into her work, or as she calls it, "her medicine".

Kim enjoys any and every opportunity to share these teachings and modalities.  You can find her doing session work in her North Central Phoenix office, instructing in a classroom setting at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, and holding talking circles or retreats in any of her destination retreat locations around the world!

Amanda Lux:

clearing anxiety and stress.

Amanda Lux:

And an overall somatic energetic reset.

Amanda Lux:

I felt like that was kind of needed in the collective right now.

Amanda Lux:

For this time and really really for any time cause.

Amanda Lux:

Who doesn't need a little energetic somatic reset here and there.

Amanda Lux:

So you should definitely check those out as well as my blog

Amanda Lux:

post that's associated with that.

Amanda Lux:

Offering just some simple energy medicine and visualization techniques and

Amanda Lux:

practices to help you ground your energy.

Amanda Lux:

And release stress and anxiety.

Amanda Lux:

So today's episode, I'm super excited to be talking to my

Amanda Lux:

dear friend, Kim Pinckley.

Amanda Lux:

She's a polarity teacher, colleague of mine from the Southwest

Amanda Lux:

Institute of healing arts.

Amanda Lux:

And she's

Amanda Lux:

has training in traditional native American medicine ceremonies.

Amanda Lux:

And she's also just a really incredible human being.

Amanda Lux:

So.

Amanda Lux:

I was excited when she told me that she had these dreams and was willing

Amanda Lux:

to share them with the podcast.

Amanda Lux:

So we spontaneously hopped on this interview, recorded this epic, , session.

Amanda Lux:

And at the very end of it, I realized I had not hit record.

Amanda Lux:

Which was really weird because I had hit record , but somehow it didn't record.

Amanda Lux:

So whenever something like that happens, I always know that

Amanda Lux:

there's some higher purpose to it.

Amanda Lux:

There's some reason why we needed to do it twice.

Amanda Lux:

I just feel like the kind of dreams, a quality to her dreams.

Amanda Lux:

They were medicine dreams.

Amanda Lux:

And I would define that as any kind of dream

Amanda Lux:

where you're moving between realms, where you're connecting with higher

Amanda Lux:

beings or beings who have passed or divine aspects of yourself.

Amanda Lux:

This kind of dreams often come to bring us healing.

Amanda Lux:

Clarity.

Amanda Lux:

To help us know that we are on path.

Amanda Lux:

They bring teachings that we couldn't otherwise receive.

Amanda Lux:

And they usually have some kind of potency that other dreams don't have.

Amanda Lux:

And so because of the quality of her dreams, being medicine dreams,

Amanda Lux:

the fact that it didn't record the first time and that we had to reset.

Amanda Lux:

And start over.

Amanda Lux:

I thought that was really interesting.

Amanda Lux:

So, , I kind of begin this interview with a little bit more of an

Amanda Lux:

invocation to kind of honor the space.

Amanda Lux:

Even though Kim and I are really good friends, we do

Amanda Lux:

laugh a lot in this interview.

Amanda Lux:

, the content is really quite special.

Amanda Lux:

So I want to invite you as you listen, to keep in mind that your energy is

Amanda Lux:

also in the space of this container.

Amanda Lux:

And that has always any time we listened to someone else's

Amanda Lux:

dream with consciousness.

Amanda Lux:

We get to try that dream on as though it were our own.

Amanda Lux:

I just invite you to tune into your body and your environment.

Amanda Lux:

Noticing what comes up for you as you listen.

Amanda Lux:

What resonates.

Amanda Lux:

And what is the medicine from Kim's dreams?

Amanda Lux:

That are really coming for you and the dream of your life as well.

Amanda Lux:

Coming back into the session space with new, , intention,

Amanda Lux:

, , to honor what was, and what is

Amanda Lux:

and the consciousness of the space.

Amanda Lux:

That we opened a doorway just by speaking to these dreams that were

Amanda Lux:

about opening doorways between the worlds therefore this is sacred space.

Amanda Lux:

, calling in our guides and allies to the container in a sacred way so that

Amanda Lux:

it is safe and secure and in service of our highest good and the highest.

Amanda Lux:

Good of all.

Kim Pinckley:

Hmm.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

It feels really important actually.

Amanda Lux:

Yeah.

Amanda Lux:

So just to introduce you Kim, and give a little context for

Amanda Lux:

the listeners around who you are and how bad-ass amazing you are.

Amanda Lux:

I, , would love to invite you to just share a little tiny snippet

Amanda Lux:

into your healer's journey and how you came to be this amazing polarity

Amanda Lux:

teacher retreat leader book writer incredible human being that you are.

Kim Pinckley:

I love that question.

Kim Pinckley:

I get this question in the classes that I hold, like what brought you

Kim Pinckley:

to this work and this work being polarity and craniosacral work.

Kim Pinckley:

And I've been a massage therapist for 25 years as well.

Kim Pinckley:

, I always go back to the fact that I was a child of the eighties and there

Kim Pinckley:

was a moment during my childhood where I was watching the empire

Kim Pinckley:

strikes back and I was completely.

Kim Pinckley:

Fascinated by Yoda.

Kim Pinckley:

And in one of the scenes, Yoda was lifting , Luke Skywalker spaceship

Kim Pinckley:

out of a swamp without like touching it, you know, doing it energetically.

Kim Pinckley:

And I thought to myself that moment, I want to be able to do that.

Kim Pinckley:

I mean, we're talking about like a six year old or seven year old.

Kim Pinckley:

There was this part of me that never looked back.

Kim Pinckley:

Like I always one hundred thousand times percent believed that I could do that.

Kim Pinckley:

fast forward to a few more years down the road and the karate kid came out and Mr.

Kim Pinckley:

Miyagi and Daniel son, and there was that clap that Mr.

Kim Pinckley:

Miyagi did with his hands before he would go touch Danielson to heal him.

Kim Pinckley:

I actually used to chase kids around the playground when I was a kid , slapping

Kim Pinckley:

my hands together and trying to heal them always trying to convince people,

Kim Pinckley:

we could move things with our mind

Kim Pinckley:

And not touching them.

Kim Pinckley:

You know, I found myself in this work, the work that I do being

Kim Pinckley:

totally based on energy quantum physics the mystery the unknown

Kim Pinckley:

and everything from different realms.

Kim Pinckley:

And I've constantly been seeking knowledge, seeking

Kim Pinckley:

wisdom, seeking anything I could find about universal truths.

Kim Pinckley:

And in that same journey, it was one of self-reflection and my own healing.

Kim Pinckley:

And it was the best way that I found to learn this work was to do it with myself.

Kim Pinckley:

And I love to share it in any way I can also.

Kim Pinckley:

And there's, this idea that it's not just.

Kim Pinckley:

What we can see here with these earthen eyes and what our limited human minds

Kim Pinckley:

can perceive or think, but there's a bigger picture with a lot more

Kim Pinckley:

potential available and possibilities that we could never really imagine.

Kim Pinckley:

And I just love being in that.

:

I love it.

:

Mystery being in the great mystery

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

and you are so Yoda.

:

I so see that.

:

And I so see the Mr.

:

Miyagi in print of your.

:

Relationship with mentorship and how you worked really closely

Amanda Lux:

with Heather Principe in the New

:

York chapter of the polarity teacher training

Kim Pinckley:

yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

So

Kim Pinckley:

She has many different circles and gatherings and medicine,

Kim Pinckley:

wheel journeys and ceremony.

Kim Pinckley:

I have done vision quest and I also just, I try and spend any time I can with her.

Kim Pinckley:

And she is the teacher that's really , handed the teaching

Kim Pinckley:

of ceremony down to me.

Kim Pinckley:

I love holding circles and I love being in that space where

Kim Pinckley:

we all get to share our truth

, Amanda Lux:

you have such a, great integrity around how you hold and

, Amanda Lux:

pass on what you've been given.

, Amanda Lux:

I have seen and witnessed your medicine and your potency,

, Amanda Lux:

. And I love hearing this, Mr.

, Amanda Lux:

Miyagi, karate kid, Yoda correlation it's all coming together now.

Kim Pinckley:

That's my story.

Kim Pinckley:

That's how I got here.

Kim Pinckley:

And I never looked back, you know, I just never wanted to, for one

Kim Pinckley:

second doubt that any of that stuff, that Hollywood stuff was possible.

Amanda Lux:

That is the adventure of being in energy medicine is that we're,

Amanda Lux:

dancing between realms all the time.

Kim Pinckley:

Never a dull day at work, it's a beautiful exploration.

Kim Pinckley:

I love it.

Amanda Lux:

Absolutely.

Amanda Lux:

So I know that you, came to me for this specific conversation because you had

Amanda Lux:

a series of four dreams that happened over the course of two days quite

Amanda Lux:

recently, within the last week, right?

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

Kim Pinckley:

Within the last three days.

Amanda Lux:

so this is fresh right now.

Amanda Lux:

, So yeah, I wanted to give you

Amanda Lux:

of these dreams

Kim Pinckley:

They started in an afternoon nap and then over the

Kim Pinckley:

next two evenings or two nights,

Kim Pinckley:

I had never experienced the amount of intensity the conversations were.

Kim Pinckley:

Normal conversations.

Kim Pinckley:

, almost as if we're in day to day life on this earth plane kind of dreams

Kim Pinckley:

fascinating something I had never experienced in the few of them drawn

Kim Pinckley:

together all in the same couple of days.

Kim Pinckley:

Really.

Kim Pinckley:

I was like, I need to call Amanda what's going on here?

Kim Pinckley:

A little reflection.

Kim Pinckley:

So here we are,

Amanda Lux:

want to speak at all to the context of the

Amanda Lux:

dream, starting with the ether?

Amanda Lux:

I would consider any kind of dream incubation to divine information from

Amanda Lux:

my dreams or connect with my dream guides as an aspect of the ether.

Amanda Lux:

But it could also be anything going on in the context of your

Amanda Lux:

life, around the time of the dream or anything that seems related.

Kim Pinckley:

absolutely.

Kim Pinckley:

So as I was kind of speaking to before.

Kim Pinckley:

I love to be in ceremony.

Kim Pinckley:

And really what that means for me is this place where a group of us will come

Kim Pinckley:

together and it is extremely authentic.

Kim Pinckley:

It's raw.

Kim Pinckley:

It is also a place where we would do in vocation for a safe container

Kim Pinckley:

to allow our ancestors or our guides or spirits to come and journey with

Kim Pinckley:

us for whatever amount of time,

Kim Pinckley:

by opening ceremony, something usually shifts.

Kim Pinckley:

It always shifts.

Kim Pinckley:

You can expect the unexpected at times.

Kim Pinckley:

And whenever I go to ceremony, whenever I'm holding ceremony I'm

Kim Pinckley:

very aware that my dreams become really vivid, intense, interesting.

Kim Pinckley:

I feel like they're more dimensional.

Kim Pinckley:

, , maybe working things out on more than one plane we'll say.

Kim Pinckley:

And so just held a retreat before these dreams happened and which was very

Kim Pinckley:

ceremonial, including a labyrinth, which had an extreme, energetic component of

Kim Pinckley:

the labyrinth was something new and bigger than I probably had worked with before.

Kim Pinckley:

And I feel like these dreams started just as I was landing,

Kim Pinckley:

like really getting here.

Kim Pinckley:

back to my grounded

Kim Pinckley:

self but still had that magic, that portal, that opening

Kim Pinckley:

That's my thought around it.

Kim Pinckley:

So the first dream was during a nap and I'm not a big napper and this day

Kim Pinckley:

I needed a nap was still coming out of ceremony and woke up from this nap.

Kim Pinckley:

And I can say that what I remember in those moments where , confusion of wait

Kim Pinckley:

a minute, I know that just happened and I'm not sure how it could have happened.

Kim Pinckley:

And it took me minutes to really convince myself that was a dream.

Kim Pinckley:

And so the dream was that I had a friend, very close friend of mine pass away over

Kim Pinckley:

20 years ago, . And after his passing, he would come to me in dream time.

Kim Pinckley:

Other places I would feel his presence in my life as well.

Kim Pinckley:

And then slowly but surely that kind of fell off and he hasn't

Kim Pinckley:

entered my dreams in many years.

Kim Pinckley:

The dream actually started with me on a phone call talking to a relative

Kim Pinckley:

who was trying to Tell me that she was disappointed with this energetic

Kim Pinckley:

work that I do, and that it was SAC religious and that I shouldn't

Kim Pinckley:

be playing with this energy stuff.

Kim Pinckley:

So that's how the dream actually started.

Kim Pinckley:

And as I'm on the phone with her, my friend who had passed away,

Kim Pinckley:

walked in through my house and I saw him, , I had a knowing, oh Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

We were mistaken.

Kim Pinckley:

He hadn't actually passed away.

Kim Pinckley:

He's just been missing all this time.

Kim Pinckley:

And when I saw him, I was so excited that that was true, that

Kim Pinckley:

this misunderstanding was true.

Kim Pinckley:

And I went and they gave him this big hug and cried happy joyful and so excited.

Kim Pinckley:

I remember at some point while I was hugging him and crying I told myself,

Kim Pinckley:

feel his body make sure he's real.

Kim Pinckley:

, make sure you're not dreaming.

Kim Pinckley:

And I felt his body.

Kim Pinckley:

And I was like, wow, this is, this is real.

Kim Pinckley:

The next thing you know, I remembered, I had been on the phone call and

Kim Pinckley:

I decided to hang up with her and I was going to go and spend some

Kim Pinckley:

time with my friend who came back.

Kim Pinckley:

So I went and found the phone, hung up with her.

Kim Pinckley:

When I went to friend, it was like, I walked into a hotel room that had been

Kim Pinckley:

occupied, but the person had checked out.

Kim Pinckley:

You could tell somebody had been there, but now they're not there any longer.

Kim Pinckley:

They were gone.

Kim Pinckley:

The bed was used, but there was no toothbrush or no

Kim Pinckley:

suitcase, everything was gone.

Kim Pinckley:

And you could just feel that, oh, gone.

Kim Pinckley:

When I woke up.

Kim Pinckley:

It took me a few minutes to really convince myself that you felt him.

Kim Pinckley:

No, he's not here, but you felt him.

Kim Pinckley:

And you really convinced myself that it, you know, that was a dream.

:

So I'll just reflect what I heard here this friend of

:

yours they passed 20 years ago

Kim Pinckley:

Correct.

:

and you used to dream of them, but you haven't

:

in all this in a long time.

:

Initially in the dream, you're on the phone with a relative, who's kind

:

of shaming you for doing this work.

Amanda Lux:

That's sort of sacreligious this energy

:

work that you do.

:

And in the midst of that, you said your friend walks in

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

Really interesting.

:

Part of the dream when I think about being on the phone in a dream, I think

:

like we're speaking to somebody who's not in this plane with us.

:

And so that's interesting communication across the phone line.

Kim Pinckley:

Hmm.

:

And then you just dropped the phone, you're like whatever with them

:

and that even getting to keep listening to this or having this conversation because,

:

oh my gosh, my friend is here and you're like overwhelmed with emotion and joy.

:

And they're , so real to you.

:

And you're even in the dream are going, this can't be a

:

dream because it's so real.

Amanda Lux:

And then you remember this phone conversation and that's when you

Amanda Lux:

leave your friend to go hang up the phone.

Amanda Lux:

And then when you come back, your friend is no longer there.

Amanda Lux:

They've checked out.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

Amanda Lux:

And there was something about that word checked out.

Amanda Lux:

That caught me a little bit.

Amanda Lux:

Like when you check out of a hotel,

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

Amanda Lux:

they had checked out.

:

I don't know.

:

There was something about that.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

And of course, hotel is a temporary space, a space where you visit,

:

then you're passing through, like they had been coming to stay there for a

:

temporary amount of time and moved on.

Kim Pinckley:

So this is just kind of fascinating to well, let me just

Kim Pinckley:

say . The first job I ever had at like age 15, I was housekeeping at a hotel.

Kim Pinckley:

And in the hotel where I worked, I met another friend who was just like

Kim Pinckley:

a brother to me, and same kind of connection and I just want to say?

Kim Pinckley:

so fascinating to me that next week I will be going to New York to visit

Kim Pinckley:

this friend is terminal with cancer.

Kim Pinckley:

Just in like really it's fascinating to me the whole hotel piece, that

Kim Pinckley:

transition piece, the brother , the friendship . It's so, Wow.

:

Wow.

:

That is a whole other layer of the

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

I'm feeling full body goosebumps

:

and this, this evolution of the story, right?

:

So you're going to go to the hotel.

Kim Pinckley:

So yeah, that had been on my list of things.

Kim Pinckley:

I'm like, oh, let's go check out where he used to work, whatever.

Kim Pinckley:

So, yeah.

:

And then there's the metaphor of the hotel and you know, our life, like

:

we're only ever traveling through here

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

and staying temporarily, all of us are terminal, know?

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

Kim Pinckley:

True,

:

But yet your friend who you're going to visit is more

:

imminently in touch with that,

Kim Pinckley:

correct.

Kim Pinckley:

Different.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

A little different, right?

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

Yeah.

:

Really powerful.

Kim Pinckley:

I went to sleep that evening.

Kim Pinckley:

and the next day woke up and remembered a dream where I was in the house of an

Kim Pinckley:

elder that I used to work with . Through the same time period 20 years ago as

Kim Pinckley:

my friend and they were family friends.

Kim Pinckley:

And so there's a connection there, but I was in his house when I

Kim Pinckley:

used to visit , he had shelves and shelves and shelves of books in his

Kim Pinckley:

office, especially, and we were in his office and I happened to notice that

Kim Pinckley:

there were no more books on a shelf

Kim Pinckley:

and we had this back and forth conversation that was, , kind of

Kim Pinckley:

superficial, but exactly how it would have like just a normal conversation.

Kim Pinckley:

Well, how's your wife and this and that.

Kim Pinckley:

And it was just like, as if we were visiting each other, like I was

Kim Pinckley:

visiting him and I haven't talked to him in probably 10 or 15 years.

Kim Pinckley:

When I woke up, it was another one of these spaces where I was like,

Kim Pinckley:

whoa, that was super interesting.

Kim Pinckley:

This conversation was normal.

Kim Pinckley:

He looked like his normal self.

Kim Pinckley:

I could smell, he smoked a pipe, I could smell the pipe.

Kim Pinckley:

And I immediately texted somebody from that family and asked if he was still

Kim Pinckley:

alive and it ends up, he had passed away a month ago it kind of just blew me

Kim Pinckley:

away again, being in contact with the other side in such a way that felt so.

Kim Pinckley:

This side.

Kim Pinckley:

I had kind of been sitting with that like, what is this for me?

Kim Pinckley:

what's going on?

Kim Pinckley:

You know, I even had thoughts of like, oh, the veils kind of thin right now.

Kim Pinckley:

Should I even leave the house?

Kim Pinckley:

Should I just stay home and stay safe?

Kim Pinckley:

You know?

:

Totally.

:

Wow.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

So

:

about the books,

:

What does that mean to you?

:

What a, his books represent to you?

Kim Pinckley:

Immediately it's just wisdom.

Kim Pinckley:

And he was very, very well-read from so many genres and he

Kim Pinckley:

was extremely spiritual guy.

Kim Pinckley:

, . That's what I think about the books then being gone again, it kind

Kim Pinckley:

of feels the same as the hotel.

Kim Pinckley:

Like these books were his life, you know, and the hotel room or

Kim Pinckley:

whatever, it's empty, they're gone.

Kim Pinckley:

The books are gone.

Kim Pinckley:

Like, you know, he wouldn't be there.

Kim Pinckley:

There were no books,

Amanda Lux:

Yeah, I did just get a whole wave of goosebumps there with that one.

Kim Pinckley:

I'm good for the goosebumps.

:

I guess you are.

:

That's not always how synchronicity speaks to me, but it's so physical,

:

my reaction to your stories, it feels really true in my body.

:

When you say that.

:

The temporariness of the physical inhabitation of time and place,

:

. And the books being representative of.

:

Your connection with him, how you see him, how you saw himself, how he

:

communicated gathered and shared wisdom.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah,

Amanda Lux:

being a big part of who he was in this physical world, the

Amanda Lux:

books were gone and you didn't even know that he wasn't embodied anymore.

Kim Pinckley:

I didn't

:

Right.

Kim Pinckley:

fascinating when I found that I was like, oh

Amanda Lux:

Yeah And just

Amanda Lux:

a know, right.

Kim Pinckley:

the me, that month time is still a little bit liminal, being

Kim Pinckley:

in contact with him in that kind of way.

Kim Pinckley:

That would make more sense to me than my friend who passed 20 years ago.

Kim Pinckley:

You know, that he's a little closer to here, but anyway,

Kim Pinckley:

just saying it's interesting.

:

it's interesting that those two were, were related.

:

They were family, friends, and they were from an era of your life you were

:

close to both of them at the same time.

:

Yes.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah,

:

And that sounds like it might've been a really formative time for you.

Kim Pinckley:

That would be true very much.

Kim Pinckley:

So.

Amanda Lux:

Yeah.

Amanda Lux:

I'm curious about that piece.

Amanda Lux:

You know, sometimes when, , people share a dream or when I myself have dreams

Amanda Lux:

that have a, time marker for a certain time in my life part of my history,

Amanda Lux:

, what piece of my soul, perhaps even is communicating with me from that time.

Amanda Lux:

What were you seeking then or what was happening for you then that to now.

Kim Pinckley:

So the third dream, the third dream I was standing outside.

Kim Pinckley:

And I remember looking up into the sky and seeing this flock of birds, and I

Kim Pinckley:

believe that there were four of them.

Kim Pinckley:

As I was watching, they started doing some type of dance of

Kim Pinckley:

transformation into an object that.

Kim Pinckley:

Is unidentifiable to me.

Kim Pinckley:

I have never seen this type of object.

Kim Pinckley:

It looked quite mechanical.

Kim Pinckley:

Like it looked like they went from birds to machinery almost.

Kim Pinckley:

It was quite fascinating, like this transformation into something

Kim Pinckley:

that I've never seen before.

Kim Pinckley:

And in that moment, there was definitely awe, wow, what is that?

Kim Pinckley:

What is going on?

Kim Pinckley:

And then it started moving at a very quick rate, very fast

Kim Pinckley:

towards earth, towards the ground.

Kim Pinckley:

And then it began to feel ominous And scary.

Kim Pinckley:

Like it was about to overtake wherever it landed, whatever it was in its path.

Kim Pinckley:

And I woke up before it hit.

:

And how did you feel when you first woke up?

Kim Pinckley:

It felt other worldly.

Kim Pinckley:

It felt like what I just saw exists somewhere else.

Kim Pinckley:

And it's just new to me in this moment.

Kim Pinckley:

Like I saw something I've never seen before, but it doesn't mean.

Kim Pinckley:

Doesn't exist.

:

Right.

:

when you say that, what I think of is like you are witnessing something

:

outside of your known reality, but that exists in some other reality

Kim Pinckley:

Absolutely.

:

And it started as something somewhat recognizable of this

:

reality in that it started with birds

Kim Pinckley:

yeah,

:

and then the birds melded into one.

:

And when they joined into one creature, they transformed into something that

:

seemed almost mechanical, but it was

Amanda Lux:

completely unidentifiable

:

to you.

Kim Pinckley:

that's right.

:

I do think of UFO's.

:

I'll just say it.

Kim Pinckley:

I was definitely afraid as it started flying towards the earth.

Kim Pinckley:

And in my mind, , I was afraid that this was about to harm me.

Kim Pinckley:

You know, I woke up in that kind of fear, but I was also like, what, what,

Kim Pinckley:

like what, so I would say that would be my sense of that, of that, but again,

Kim Pinckley:

just what really speaks to me is the shape-shifting and , another reality.

:

The common thread there between the three dreams, it feels like there

:

is a sense of walking between realms, I'm visiting with people who have passed

:

And then being in this situation where you're viewing something that isn't

Amanda Lux:

of this realm either.

:

Even when you were with the people who had passed, there was such a

:

physical realness to both of those dreams.

:

You could smell them, feel them had an awareness that you've thought you

:

weren't even dreaming in the dream.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

:

And even with the, the beginning of this whole sequence, starting with

:

the phone call, that's fascinating to me again, I just think something's

:

coming through being transmitted,

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

And there's some opening between the realms.

:

So that's just really interesting.

:

I know that the first time you told me this dream, I had a really strong

:

sense of when you were in ceremony that you had combined some different.

:

Non traditional elements with some traditional elements, correct.

Kim Pinckley:

Correct?

:

And there was some aspect of that ceremony you did with

:

flags and with the four directions.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

:

When you told the dream, I saw the four directions

:

has the birds and the melding of

Amanda Lux:

different traditions into something

:

new non-traditional, non recognizable.

:

And the fear that you had, you went

Amanda Lux:

into a very deep around

:

that, especially with your teacher, Heather, who,

:

who we were mentioning earlier,

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

You misinterpreted her text and thought, oh my gosh, what did I do?

:

Right.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

Which was scary.

Kim Pinckley:

It was like that.

Kim Pinckley:

, like the world was about to end.

Kim Pinckley:

My world was about to end.

Kim Pinckley:

It felt that way for a very, you know, good moment.

Kim Pinckley:

Let me tell you.

:

That still feels relevant to me that you, brought together

:

some traditional with non-traditional things, created something new

:

that had great power to it.

:

that power was scary.

:

It was like, is it going in the direction that you want it to, or is it just

:

plummeting to earth in a destructive way?

:

And it's about to destroy you.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes, yes, That's I love the way you said that, I kind of

Kim Pinckley:

hung on every word of your sentence.

Kim Pinckley:

Cause you.

Kim Pinckley:

said that last intense and I'm like, oh my God.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

When you say that back to me, what I for myself is, definitely the piece

Kim Pinckley:

about power I can't help it, but this was part of my process too, when I.

Kim Pinckley:

through that process.

Kim Pinckley:

You're speaking about like, oh my God, I did something wrong.

Kim Pinckley:

But part of my process was idea of how our world is changing right now and how in my

Kim Pinckley:

humble opinion, there probably needs to be a collective that comes together soon.

Kim Pinckley:

We need to find some ways to bridge some gaps.

Kim Pinckley:

How can we have more unity?

Kim Pinckley:

How can we have more compassion and respect for each other?

Kim Pinckley:

And when I think about what I did with my colleague on this retreat, by combining

Kim Pinckley:

these medicines for me, I think about how that could totally foster more unity,

Kim Pinckley:

foster, more community, you know, and.

Kim Pinckley:

The power that comes from that.

Kim Pinckley:

And, you know, who's to say that at some point a million years ago, these

Kim Pinckley:

two medicines not life together.

Kim Pinckley:

I think about it through all the different realms.

Kim Pinckley:

There are so many different possibilities and realities and parallel universes,

Kim Pinckley:

or however you want to look at it that I think that it might be the , perfect

Kim Pinckley:

medicine for the time to try and find a way to be with each other's ways in

Kim Pinckley:

a health building manner, you know?

Kim Pinckley:

So when you give that thing back to me about the power of that, I can

Kim Pinckley:

see the polarity of it, a lot of power or it could feel like a lot of

Kim Pinckley:

destruction depending on where you're looking at it on the continuum.

Kim Pinckley:

And I totally honored both sides, a hundred million percent.

Kim Pinckley:

But you really took me somewhere in that piece

:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

just, you know, honoring the, is it going to

Kim Pinckley:

take for us to move through this, this space and time right now?

Kim Pinckley:

And nobody knows.

Kim Pinckley:

So don't tell the man who is doing it.

Kim Pinckley:

I can't be done, you know?

:

I love that.

:

Yes, totally.

:

And maybe what it looks like is something completely alien and

:

unidentifiable , like other worldly, even though it's made of things of here

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

and that there is nothing new, right?

:

All energy is

:

Moving through different forms.

:

Everything exists in some form or another in some way or another, in

:

some parallel reality or another.

Kim Pinckley:

yeah.

:

yeah.

:

How do we direct and harness that power in a good way is really the question.

:

And I like that you opened that up for the collective.

:

How do we, as a collective honor, the medicines of traditions and of past, and

:

be in integrity with the old ways that they have been passed down or passed down

:

to us through our teachers, but how do we meet the moment of the new and allow

:

things to become what they're becoming in this unidentifiable form without blowing

Amanda Lux:

ourselves up?

Kim Pinckley:

Aho!

Amanda Lux:

How do we

:

do that?

Kim Pinckley:

yes, please.

:

I think the question is more important to hold space for than anything.

:

So I'll just leave it at that,

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

I'm super grateful that you brought that in.

:

And I also, again, I want to honor that.

:

Because of the nature of our dreams being multi-dimensional and interdimensional,

:

these dreams that you're bringing today they could have multiple meanings.

:

much as that symbology relates and feels alive in the moment there's

:

other possibilities simultaneously for, for how that dream could be bringing

:

some more insight might come to you

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

around it.

Kim Pinckley:

I

:

I love the progression of these dreams too.

:

I remember now what the fourth one is, but I'll go ahead and invite you to share it.

Kim Pinckley:

This was just an interesting one that happened the

Kim Pinckley:

same night as the previous one.

Kim Pinckley:

I was attending a teaching that was being given by a guru and it.

Kim Pinckley:

was a female, this guru.

Kim Pinckley:

And before she really got into the teachings, she was on a stage

Kim Pinckley:

and she walked off the stage and like beelined right towards me

Kim Pinckley:

and said, Kim, and uh, Yeah,

Kim Pinckley:

Hi is what I said.

Kim Pinckley:

Hi.

Kim Pinckley:

And she said, how are your children?

Kim Pinckley:

And when she said it, it was this question to me, not like a nicety,

Kim Pinckley:

, there was an urgency for me to go find out, oh my God, how are my children?

Kim Pinckley:

And I have three children.

Kim Pinckley:

As I woke from that dream, right.

Kim Pinckley:

after that, , I was definitely, wow, okay.

Kim Pinckley:

I need to check in on the kids.

Kim Pinckley:

When I kind of heard from all of them, that everybody was okay, there

Kim Pinckley:

was a little bit of a, , okay, well, what the heck anyway, what was that?

Kim Pinckley:

Like?

Kim Pinckley:

It was so intense.

Kim Pinckley:

The energy of that for me was that Aries energy.

Kim Pinckley:

Like, like when she came to find me, it was like, boom.

Kim Pinckley:

And she found me in a crowd and she named me and she was very direct with me.

Kim Pinckley:

How are the children?

Kim Pinckley:

And so.

Kim Pinckley:

It reminded me after I knew my own children were okay.

Kim Pinckley:

That in dream time, occasionally attend the intergalactic Federation meetings.

Kim Pinckley:

And as I attend these meetings, typically speaking, I feel that , I

Kim Pinckley:

get my orders, if you will.

Kim Pinckley:

Like, I get my job description.

Kim Pinckley:

I get, okay, what's next?

Kim Pinckley:

For the collective, like for what is even more than just the earth

Kim Pinckley:

and collective, but for, you know, the spiritual collective,

Kim Pinckley:

the

Kim Pinckley:

evolution of consciousness.

:

I know , you had a little concern that that would come

:

across as sounding kind of Cray Cray, my inner galactic Federation

:

meetings in the dream realm.

:

And I wanted to reassure you that you're not the only one.

:

And now, , that we've recorded this on the podcast, I'm sure that

:

I'll get a flood of emails of other people saying, oh my God, me too.

Kim Pinckley:

Secretly Amanda, I was like, please, if you get

Kim Pinckley:

any kind of response around that,

:

Hmm.

Kim Pinckley:

you tell me that we both know we're not crazy.

:

Let's officially put out the invitation, feel free, reach out.

:

My, email

Amanda Lux:

is in the shownotes.

Amanda Lux:

So you can

:

just reach on out.

:

Let me know you've been at the meetings and , we, we

:

can all reassure one another.

:

that is in fact actually more than, than acceptable.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes,

:

And so, so when you bring up this dream about this female guru that comes

:

out of the crowd, beelines for you, names, you and asks you, how are the children

:

There is an element to this dream that reminds you of this sort of soul soul

:

level job description that you have.

Kim Pinckley:

Yes.

Kim Pinckley:

The last time I went to a meeting that happens in dream time.

Kim Pinckley:

I remember waking up and the last words I was hearing as I woke up

Kim Pinckley:

where pay attention to ushering in the new ones, the new children.

Kim Pinckley:

And , in that week I was introduced to four.

Kim Pinckley:

Women with children like pregnant through my work, one is a teacher and

Kim Pinckley:

the other as a practitioner, as well as a few, like two specific children

Kim Pinckley:

came into my field in a, if you say like a, a therapeutic or a grandmother

Kim Pinckley:

energy holding space for them,

:

Yeah,

Kim Pinckley:

it was fascinating.

Kim Pinckley:

To have such a marked experience after my galactic Federation meeting,

Kim Pinckley:

you know, and it was a validation in and of itself and it also kind of

Kim Pinckley:

blows me away, the bigness of it all.

Kim Pinckley:

And just honoring, as I've told you these dreams, I'm really

Kim Pinckley:

just hearing , the capacity

Kim Pinckley:

of being indifferent times, even, or defying that or the

Kim Pinckley:

portals or , the universal energy.

Kim Pinckley:

Like, there's a thing for me about how we think about miracles on our planet.

Kim Pinckley:

, like the miracles that we think about that happened here is a blink

Kim Pinckley:

of the eye to universal energy.

Kim Pinckley:

And just what it takes for like creation and for bodies to exist and to

Kim Pinckley:

function and everything of that nature to think that there isn't something.

Kim Pinckley:

, Many millions of things, bigger and more possible and available and so

Kim Pinckley:

these dreams really, I feel like they've busted open the door for me a little

Kim Pinckley:

bit, like having talked to you, now in this way and heard your reflection

Kim Pinckley:

and being able to speak these pieces.

Kim Pinckley:

I go full circle to, Yoda and to Daniel, you know?

:

yeah, . really beautiful holding the mystery again of

:

this, I love , that all of these dreams came, sort of on the wings

:

of this, retreat that you offered, where you, are that role of teacher

:

and of holding open the realms.

:

Right.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah,

:

And that's a really big responsibility.

:

And then this more responsibility to.

:

The beings that are coming in and coming into your field and coming

:

into body and these beings that are going out of body and leaving, you

:

know, from this realm to the next and that, I just really feel you in all

:

of these different scenarios, meeting it with an openness and a willingness.

:

And that to me is really beautiful.

:

I just want to honor you for that.

Kim Pinckley:

I really love your reflection there, and I

Kim Pinckley:

appreciate your words for sure.

Kim Pinckley:

And it's, you know, for me personally, I just, I don't know what it would be

Kim Pinckley:

like to have to do it any other way.

Kim Pinckley:

, I'm actually super grateful for all of that, that you just

Kim Pinckley:

spoke to and for the mystery

:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

I know it's not a coincidence that we got a chance to find

Kim Pinckley:

all this, to be able to be with it, to have a life full of it, to be engaged

Kim Pinckley:

with a defined community around it.

Kim Pinckley:

Like, I can't wait to meet all the other people that go to the galactic Federation.

Kim Pinckley:

I would really love that.

Kim Pinckley:

But now I like in all seriousness, . I have such reverence for these teachings

Kim Pinckley:

that we have been given throughout our journey in these healing arts.

Kim Pinckley:

I hold them so sacred , and I just have so much hope that the world

Kim Pinckley:

will open to these even more and more and more and more and more.

:

Well, and it's funny too, now I'm getting full body goosebumps again,

:

because I'm returning full circle again, to the very first thing that happened

:

in the first dream, which was you got that phone call from a relative saying

:

whole energy thing you're doing is

Amanda Lux:

like, so sacreligious

:

and

Kim Pinckley:

it was.

Kim Pinckley:

It's a funny thing.

Kim Pinckley:

I remember in the dream, I'm going to let her just talk her peace

Kim Pinckley:

and then I'll speak my thing.

Kim Pinckley:

And I doubt I'll be heard, but you know, I'm going to speak science to

Kim Pinckley:

her and then boom, no need got to go.

Kim Pinckley:

, my deceased friend is arrived.

:

And I can smell them and feel them and knowing for sure

:

that it's not a dream that I'm

Kim Pinckley:

Yep.

:

with them.

:

I just wanted to bring it back to that because I feel like, that ties

:

it all up with a bow or something.

:

Like, maybe there is that message that tries to come through the phone lines.

:

You know, maybe there are those thoughts , that being, somebody who can open up

:

the realms and open these portals for yourself and others, whether you want

:

to, or not, you are doing that, you know?

:

Even when we don't want to, we still do.

:

And we can direct that energy intentionally and learn how to

:

wield that power and how to be in a good relationship with it.

:

Or we can let it destroy us right.

:

By ignoring it or not participating or not doing what we came here on mission

:

into these bodies to do, because clearly we have missions and we all do everybody,

:

but especially when you're conscious of it and you're doing the work that

:

you're doing, you know, like that's a really beautiful, powerful thing.

:

And there might always be those phone calls through the ethers.

:

Like, what are you doing?

:

What do you think you're doing there?

:

Are you sure?

:

You're okay.

:

I don't know.

Kim Pinckley:

There definitely will be those phone calls, but no, I love it.

Kim Pinckley:

I love what you're saying.

Kim Pinckley:

You're so right.

Kim Pinckley:

, It feels Right.

Kim Pinckley:

to me, everything you're saying, and it definitely, in some ways , , just going

Kim Pinckley:

back to opening up the portals and all of that and whether you want to or not.

Kim Pinckley:

I love the challenge that you kind of just opened this up as not a burden to me.

Kim Pinckley:

Not that I felt it that way, but the burden aspect would come when

Kim Pinckley:

I would feel not good enough.

Kim Pinckley:

You know what I get that sense of, like, I don't know what I'm doing.

Kim Pinckley:

Then it feels like a burden, but really for me, when you set all that, , I felt

Kim Pinckley:

it more as like, A very healthy challenge.

Kim Pinckley:

That there's something that you can meet and it's something you're being asked to

Kim Pinckley:

meet, and there's, no judgment around it and it would be boring if you didn't

Kim Pinckley:

have something to meet in your life.

Kim Pinckley:

And I'm

Kim Pinckley:

grateful that this is mine.

:

Absolutely.

:

Me too.

:

I'm so grateful.

:

So grateful for you meeting the challenges that come thank you so much, Kim, for

:

not only sharing your dreams in this way.

:

So profoundly and vulnerably and powerfully letting us in

:

to participate in the dream.

:

, But also for sharing them twice, once with the ethers and once with all of us.

Kim Pinckley:

It was an honor and I am so grateful for it as well.

Kim Pinckley:

This time has been special.

Kim Pinckley:

Thank you so much for holding it.

:

If there's anything that you want to speak to for completion, anything you

:

want to say for yourself or for the space?

Kim Pinckley:

So I'm trying to find my right words around it, I think

Kim Pinckley:

we just spoke about this whole big piece that could feel unattainable

Kim Pinckley:

or out of reach for people like, to some degree I'm talking about , the

Kim Pinckley:

galactic Federation or lifting a spaceship out of the swamp or whatever.

Kim Pinckley:

I just want to say that know, that you can defy the laws of physics if you want

Kim Pinckley:

to there's something about saying, you know, this is available to everybody

Kim Pinckley:

opening gates, opening portals, being with energy, harnessing it in the

Kim Pinckley:

way that serves the collective, all of that is available to everybody.

Kim Pinckley:

And , I just hope that anything I shared opens doors period

Kim Pinckley:

just opens doors for anyone.

:

Yeah, that's beautiful.

:

Thank you so much.

:

I had a real strong sense when you were speaking that, into words is

:

a part of that soul mission kind of I've come to earth to say you can

:

lift spaceships out of the mud and do impossible things with energy.

:

You can do it, feel the force.

Kim Pinckley:

The only reason why I have not done that yet lift that

Kim Pinckley:

spaceship out of a swamp is cause I have not found a spaceship in the swamp.

:

You're probably lifting so many spaceships out of swamps.

:

You didn't even realize you were doing it.

:

You're like, oh, that's just what I do everyday.

:

When I go to work.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

This have to be defined it's frequency, right?

Kim Pinckley:

Um, Yeah.

Kim Pinckley:

Thank you for being with me this way.

:

I'm going to close the space, close the container.

Kim Pinckley:

Yeah.

:

the portal.

:

We closed the portal.

:

So thinking our guides and our allies and all of the collective energies

:

that have gathered around us from the ethers that are here to support us on our

:

journey and to take this work and these words out, let it ripple out benefit

:

all beings on all planes, everywhere for

Amanda Lux:

the highest

Amanda Lux:

good of all.

Amanda Lux:

may it be.
